A Shared Academic Philosophy

Think back to when you first began reading, writing, or telling stories.  We used to make up stories for anything and everything under the sun.  We used to daydream of phenomenal adventures and our accomplishments of feats which appeared unattainable.

I encourage all of you to reestablish this way of thought, refine it, and make it all your reality.  Within our time together you will learn the true meaning of academia and what it means to be educated.  We will discuss everything English related from: grammar, writing, reading, public speaking, resume development, and so much more.

I welcome all of you to enter our time together with an open mind and an open heart.  The literature we will be conquering this year will push all of us to rethink, reevaluate, and motivate our current states.  All students will be responsible for an outside reading book.  This will be further discussed and delivered in class.
